NDFriends Community Guidelines

Last updated: August 12, 2026

NDFriends is an adult community for ADHD, Autistic, and other neurodivergent people to connect, share, reflect, and build meaningful social or dating relationships at their own pace. These Community Guidelines explain what is and is not allowed on NDFriends.

By using NDFriends, you agree to follow these Guidelines, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy. We may remove content, limit features, require verification, suspend accounts, or ban accounts that violate these rules.

1. Adult-Only Community

NDFriends is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the app.

You may not misrepresent your age, create an account for a minor, help a minor access the app, or interact with anyone you know or suspect to be under 18 through NDFriends.

2. Respect and Inclusion

NDFriends is built for people who may communicate, process emotions, socialize, or build relationships differently. Treat others with patience, honesty, and respect.

Do not post, send, or encourage:

  • Harassment, bullying, intimidation, stalking, or threats
  • Hate speech or discrimination
  • Mocking, shaming, or targeting someone's neurodivergence, disability, mental health, health condition, gender, sexuality, race, religion, nationality, body, or identity
  • Repeated unwanted contact after someone has said no, stopped responding, blocked you, or left a conversation
  • Content intended to humiliate, manipulate, isolate, or control another person

3. Consent, Dating Safety, and Boundaries

NDFriends supports respectful social and dating connections. Consent and boundaries are required at all times.

You may not:

  • Pressure someone into dating, sex, intimacy, private photos, voice messages, video calls, or off-platform contact
  • Send unwanted sexual messages, images, audio, or requests
  • Coerce, threaten, guilt, blackmail, or manipulate another user
  • Share or threaten to share private conversations, images, personal details, or sensitive information
  • Use NDFriends to exploit emotional vulnerability, disability, loneliness, or mental health struggles

If someone sets a boundary, respect it immediately.

4. Child Safety Standards: CSEA, CSAE, and CSAM

NDFriends has zero tolerance for Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, also referred to as CSEA or CSAE, and Child Sexual Abuse Material, also referred to as CSAM.

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Any sexual content involving minors or people who appear to be minors
  • Creating, uploading, requesting, sharing, saving, promoting, or distributing CSAM
  • Grooming, sexual solicitation, sextortion, trafficking, or attempts to move a minor to another platform
  • Sexualized comments, fantasies, roleplay, images, audio, video, or messages involving minors
  • Any behavior that facilitates, normalizes, encourages, or conceals child exploitation or child abuse

Users can report suspected child safety violations in the app through available reporting or feedback tools. Reports may also be sent to support@ndfriends.app.

When NDFriends becomes aware of confirmed or suspected CSAM or CSEA, we will take appropriate action, including removing or restricting content, disabling accounts, preserving relevant information when legally appropriate, and reporting to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, law enforcement, or other relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

5. Content Rules

These rules apply to profiles, bios, photos, voice content, Mood Feed posts, comments, chatrooms, direct messages, usernames, and any other content or behavior on NDFriends.

You may not post or send:

  • Nudity, pornography, explicit sexual content, or sexually graphic material
  • Violence, threats, self-harm encouragement, or instructions for harm
  • Spam, scams, fake promotions, misleading links, phishing, malware, or repetitive unwanted messages
  • Requests for money, gifts, loans, investments, cryptocurrency, bank transfers, or financial help
  • Impersonation, fake identities, catfishing, or deceptive profile information
  • Illegal content or content promoting illegal activity
  • Content that infringes someone else's privacy, copyright, trademark, or other rights

6. Privacy and Sensitive Information

Many users may share personal experiences, including neurodivergence, mental health, identity, relationships, or support needs. Respect that trust.

You may not:

  • Share another person's private information without consent
  • Dox, expose, or threaten to expose someone
  • Screenshot or redistribute private conversations to shame, harass, or exploit someone
  • Reveal someone's neurodivergent identity, health information, sexual orientation, location, workplace, school, or contact details without permission
  • Collect user information for advertising, scraping, research, surveillance, or commercial use without authorization

7. Health, Mental Health, and Crisis Boundaries

NDFriends is a peer community, not a medical, therapy, crisis, legal, or professional advice service.

You may share personal experiences, support, and encouragement, but you may not present yourself as providing professional diagnosis, treatment, medication instructions, legal advice, or crisis counseling unless you are clearly authorized and the context is appropriate.

Do not encourage self-harm, suicide, disordered eating, medication misuse, abuse, or dangerous behavior. If someone appears to be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis service.

8. Reporting, Blocking, and Moderation

NDFriends provides tools to report users, posts, comments, chatrooms, and messages. You may also block users to stop unwanted interaction.

We may review reported content, user behavior, account history, automated moderation signals, and safety-related evidence. Enforcement may include:

  • Content removal or rejection
  • Warning notices
  • Temporary restrictions
  • Liveness verification requirements
  • Chatroom removal or member removal
  • Account suspension
  • Permanent ban
  • Reports to law enforcement or child safety authorities when required

Submitting false, abusive, or retaliatory reports may also result in enforcement.

9. Authenticity and Account Integrity

Use NDFriends honestly and personally.

You may not:

  • Create fake, duplicate, or misleading accounts
  • Impersonate another person, organization, or NDFriends staff
  • Sell, transfer, or share accounts
  • Use automation, bots, scraping, or unauthorized tools
  • Attempt to bypass moderation, verification, blocking, suspension, or bans

10. Enforcement and Updates

NDFriends may interpret and enforce these Guidelines at our discretion to protect users and the community. Serious violations may result in immediate removal without prior warning.

We may update these Guidelines from time to time. Continued use of NDFriends after updates means you accept the updated Guidelines.
